Welcome to our Christmas home tour friends! It is charming and beautiful, and it is where we call home. This house was fixer upper, built in 1913 home, it has tons of character.
A house is just four walls that surround you, we hope to inspire you to make your surroundings feel like “home.” You can transform any space to feel welcoming, inviting, and cozy. You can do it on any budget, if you can feel inspired to get a little creative.
Now let’s get you in the mood to decorate for the holidays with our Christmas home tour!
Our entryway is the area that first greets our guests, as they come through our doors. It is a very important space in our home. This space used to lack, well character or charm. We decided to shiplap the space and it added a sense of warm and welcoming.
I have been collecting vintage treasures to add into my Christmas decor for years. I treasure each of these pieces, as they all have their own journey and story to tell.
Our mantle has become a statement piece in our home. Too be honest it is one of my favorite places to decorate for the holidays.
I wanted to make this space warm and cozy. The mantle is from @decorsteals and if you want them to bring it back in stock send them this photo and a little sweet talk might just convince them to do it! We did a DIY on the faux insert ourselves, loved this project!I added a live Christmas Garland from Lynch Creek Farms. Lynch Creek farms has some amazing wreaths, centerpieces, and garlands.
This adorable winter sign is from my friend Lindsey @weatheredwoodhome she makes the most amazing, chippy, vintage vibe signs!
The trees are from Walmart, aren’t these crocks they come in adorable? Stockings are from Amazon! My gorgeous mirror is a staple throughout the seasons and can be found at Target. You can find this cozy soft throw at H & M Home.
Sharing a few of my favorite Christmas sign makers. As a previous sign maker myself, I truly appreciate the work that goes into creating these masterpieces. My It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the year sign is from @tealbarnsigns Ginger has the most amazing signs and I fell in love with this one, instantly. The It’s a wonderful life sign, @ourfoundhome I love the vintage distressed details Cassandra adds to her signs. The craftsmanship of these two signs is hands down perfection!
Our kitchen truly is the heart of our home. It is a place we all gather, and come together at the end of each day. We reflect on the good, the bad, and everything in between. Christmas and cooking are two things that go hand in hand in our home. It is a place me smile and laugh, and that makes our house feel like home!
I just love decorating my table. With the neutral living spaces this year I wanted to add a pool of red in the kitchen. My vintage thermos and Santa mug collections worked perfectly in these spaces. I love to grab some greens, ornaments, these faux pomegranates, and anything else that fits into my theme. I tried to have fun this year, and go a little outside my comfort zone. My faux cakes are from @everythingdawn. She makes the best faux foods to have around, great for picture taking!
Flocked tree is from @kingofchristmas I have about six of their trees in my home and love every single one! You can check out all their tree’s and they are even offering my readers 10% off with code: THECURATEDFARMHOUSE
Lighting is from @destination_lighting we chose the Lite Source Norco Black Antique Brass Swing Arm Lamps for this space. These are amazing, and give the farmhouse cabin look I was going for!
This was a very awkward shaped room and we knew we needed to get creative to make it a comfortable space for our guests, which usually include our children’s friends.
Bedding is from @linensandhutch Linens & Hutch have the most amazing sheets and bedding around. I use them on every bed in our home. Seriously every single one.
You can find the sheets, which are the Stippled Patterned 4-Piece Sheet set and the Down Alternative Comforter in sage on their site!
Wallpaper is from @muralswallpaper it’s called Woodlands and was exactly what I wanted for this space. They just seemed to offer a sense of adventure inside the actual built-in beds.
Thats a wrap! Thank you for joining me for this Christmas home tour and I hope you have the best 2019 Holiday! Check out our Home Decor Gift Guide for amazing gift ideas!
