I was asked to join an amazing group of ladies and come up with a DIY gift, and I thought this was an amazing idea. As an artist this is something that pulled on my heart strings. These turned out so cute, I cannot wait to make more. It was such a fun, easy, quick DIY it would be great for any age group.
So let’s get started. I am so excited to show you exactly how simple this process was. It is a great gift for teachers, families, or friends.
Pour paint onto a plate at least enough to cover the width of the cookie cutters you are using
Dip the cookie cutter into the paint
Press evenly before lifting
Rinse and repeat with different colors
Allow the paint to dry
Once dry you are ready to package. Use twine, ribbon, or printed custom label
Materials
Prepare your painting space and gather materialsYou can use any type of towel I used both flour sack and shop towels from Home Depot (Which look like linen)Lay towel flat on surface
Stamping
Pour paint onto a plate at least enough to cover the width of the cookie cutters you are usingDip the cookie cutter into the paint and Press evenly before lifting and applying to towelFor darker look press cookie cutter firmly for more aged vintage look press lightly
Drying
