These dollar store snowy mason jars are the perfect faux covered holiday decor. You can dress up your mantle or your table with this DIY.

Materials

• Faux Snow
• Glue
• Sand or Epsom Salt
• paint brush
• twine
• greenery
• hot glue gun

Directions

• Combine 1 cup of epsom salt or $1 sand from the dollar store with 1 cup of faux snow in a bowl and mix.

Apply a thin layer of glue around the entire mason jar. Do not make it too thick or it will drip after you apply the salt/snow mixture.

Make sure you completely cover the mason jar with your snow mixture. You can always add more glue around the rim if you need to.

Now it’s time to finish up this DIY. Grab your twine and wrap it 2-3 times around the rim of the mason jar and tie a bow. You can add in some faux greenery and pinecones to complete the look.
