SPRING INTO SUMMER

Start by incorporating elements that evoke the freshness of spring and the warmth of summer. Think of vibrant colors, natural textures, and lively decorations that will bring the outdoors in.

GREENERY

Greenery is essential for a summer mantle. It adds life, freshness, and a natural touch. This year, I wanted to do something a little different. You all know how much I love lemon decor, and I wanted that to shine on my summer mantle. My inspiration comes from yellow, green, and white tones, with a touch of wood to keep it grounded.

I started with a fern garland draped across the front of the mantle. I then added a few lemons cut from a lemon bush throughout the garland. While I found a lemon garland, I decided to save it for another space—stay tuned!

I wanted to do something a little different this year. You all know how much I love lemon decor and I wanted that to show in my summer mantle. My inspiration obviously being yellow, green, and white tones. I always try and incorporate a little wood into pretty much anything I do.

The first thing I did was add a fern garland to the front of the mantle. I inserted a few lemons cut off a lemon bush, throughout the mantle. I found a lemon garland but I decoded to save that for a different space, stay tuned!

FLORALS + VINTAGE FLARE

Florals add a vibrant and elegant touch to your mantle. I’ve been collecting vintage green bottles, which fit perfectly with this theme. If you’re on the hunt for some, here are a few vintage bottles I found online: 1, 2, and 3. Aren’t these similar pom stems fun? They add great texture to the space.

VINTAGE BOOKS

Vintage books are a charming addition to any mantle. I can’t get enough of these vintage yellow books. Here are some options online: 1, 2, and 3.

CLOCHE

I found this yellow floral cloche at Kohl’s last year. It is no longer available but you could easily DIY one with a cloche and florals.

HOBNAIL

One of my favorite thrifting finds is a Milk Glass Hobnob Mason Jar. I added a few white flowers to break up all the yellow. How adorable are the milk glass vases I sprinkled in?

LOTS OF LEMONS

To break up the mantle space, I opted for two lemon branches and filled in with a couple of loose lemons instead of a garland on top of the mantle.
