Wait Until You See This Patriotic Christmas Tree, I may have found my new favorite way to celebrate Christmas in July! With America’s 250th birthday right around the corner, I couldn’t think of a better time to bring together my love of Christmas and patriotic decor. Red, white, and blue, twinkling warm lights, and a little vintage Americana charm all came together to create a tree that feels festive, nostalgic, and perfect for summer.

This post is sponsored by King of Christmas. As always, all opinions and love for their beautiful trees are completely my own.
For this patriotic Christmas in July look, I used the King of Christmas 7.5′ Queen Flock® Artificial Christmas Tree Unlit, which was the perfect backdrop for all of my red, white, and blue decorations.

I’ve worked with King of Christmas for more than 10 years, and I truly adore their trees. Year after year, they continue to impress me with their quality, fullness, and attention to detail. There’s something about a beautifully flocked tree that makes every ornament and decoration pop, and the Queen Flock is no exception.

Because I chose the unlit version, I added my own warm white lights. I love the cozy glow they create against the snowy flocked branches, especially paired with the bold reds and blues of the patriotic decorations. This tree is full and beautiful, yet still has plenty of room between the branches for layering larger ornaments, floral picks, and all of those unexpected decorative pieces.

This was such a fun tree to decorate because I didn’t limit myself to traditional Christmas ornaments. Instead, I looked for playful patriotic pieces that would give the tree personality and make it feel perfect for summer.

I tucked mini American flags throughout the branches, added red, white, and blue flowers, and layered in festive sprigs for extra texture and dimension. One of my favorite details is the patriotic cowgirl hat, which adds a playful Americana touch. I also incorporated decorative firecrackers and other red, white, and blue accents to fill in the branches and bring the entire look together.

The beauty of decorating a patriotic Christmas tree is that almost anything can become an ornament. Small flags, florals, ribbons, stars, and unexpected finds can all be tucked into the branches to create a tree that feels collected, layered, and completely unique.
I love finding new ways to decorate throughout the seasons, and this Christmas in July tree is proof that a beautiful Christmas tree doesn’t have to stay packed away for eleven months of the year. A patriotic tree can be a gorgeous statement piece for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, or America’s 250th birthday celebration.
There’s something magical about seeing warm white lights glowing against red, white, and blue decorations. It brings together the coziness of Christmas with the nostalgia of summertime celebrations, backyard barbecues, fireworks, and flags waving in the breeze.
After more than a decade of working with King of Christmas, I’m always excited to find a new way to style one of their beautiful trees. This patriotic Christmas in July look may just be one of my favorites yet.
