How to Create a Beautiful Easter Tablescape

DIY Easter Table

I am so excited to share how to create a beautiful Easter tablescape. I am so excited to share my tips on how you can create your own beautiful table setting.

Easter Spring Floral Table

My introduction to spring decor this year was to start with the basics, green and white with pops of color.

Step #1: Shop Your Home

Spring Florals

The first thing you want to do before you start a new tablescape is to shop your own home. I like to pull my decor out and see what I can use. We had a ton of these vintage milk glass vases, I knew they would be the perfect addition to my table.

Step #2: Pick your Colors for the Season

Spring Candles

Since Easter falls in Spring, I wanted to simplify the table with a white tablecloth. I had these white pillar candle holders, garlands, and Easter decor already in my decor stock.

Step #3: Place Your Greens or Florals

First we started with a white tablecloth from Wayfair, then grabbed a few garlands to lay down the center of the table. Next we intertwined two garlands, just to mix up the colors and textures.

Step #4: It’s in the Details

Vintage Yellow Glass

I have a ton of vintage dinnerware, that I use for multiple seasons. These cute little yellow vintage glasses work perfect for spring, summer, and fall. It’s little touches like these that just add a bit of charm to your table.

Step #5: Pick your Florals and Greens

We picked up this floral vase at Target, it was a new addition to my decor this season. The cute little bunny statue was found at Hobby Lobby. I wanted to bring in pale florals and eggs, to add some cheer to the decor.

Step #6: Add in Height

Spring Table Settings

These pillar candlesticks I had on hand from Antique Farmhouse, and the wood candle pillars are from Hobby Lobby. I have had these candles for years and I love the bark texture I use these all year long. We thought these worked perfectly to add a little height to the table decor.

Step #7 Dinnerware Decor

I love to layer my plates! We always start with a charger, a dinner plate and usually a small salad plate or bowl. Have fun mixing colors and textures, your guests will love it. My plates are currently sold out but here are some similar ones. I found mine at Big Lots, perfect for outdoor use!

Step #8: Layer Your Patterns

These spring floral placemats were new at Walmart, and the napkins I bought off Bed Bath & Beyond. These adorable floral napkins rings, porcelain eggs, and holder, were all found at Hobby Lobby.

Step #9: Faux Foods Anyone?

Faux Foods

Yes, I know before you think I am crazy, I love to use faux cakes and cookies. They can easily be replaced with the real thing when you host your Easter dinner. This faux cake always looks great in photos and visitors get a kick out of them.

Step #10: Enjoy your Easter Dinner

We know you work hard to really set as scene for your guests, and I promise they will appreciate the effort. You may ask where do we put the food? You can always move the decor before you sit down to eat. I usually have the tablescape up for about a week or so before Easter. We utilize the island for the guests to grab their food and sit down to eat. You can always set a tablescape up on your buffet or island if you want to utilize your table for your food.

I love a good DIY project, and helping people create warm and cozy spaces in their homes. So if your someone who is ok with me being a hot mess express, a legging wearing, top bun sporting, kind of girl, then let's be best friends! You can never have enough friends right? I am a natural born nurturer, who always leads with my heart. I have learned it is ok to say no sometimes! My advice to you, take chances, in the end, you will regret the chances you did not take.
