Dollar Store DIY Cake Stand
Take a Dollar tree bowl and plate and make a gorgeous Dollar store DIY cake stand! For a few dollars you can have a gorgeous cake stand too!
Materials
- Nubby Bowl
- Nubby Plate
- E6000 Glue
- *Optional Spray Paint (If you don’t like the color of plate and bowl)
Let’s Get Creative
Now that we have all of our materials let’s get started. You can choose to buy the color plate and bowl you want for this project, or paint what you already have. I wanted a plate and bowl with texture, and I loved the red for Christmas.
Once you have your materials, flip the bowl over and add your glue.
Place the plate centered on top of the bowl quickly.
Once glue has completely dried, if you painted it you will want to seal it with Modpodge. This will seal the paint so you can wash it. You can find it at your local dollar store or craft shop. If you did not paint the bowl and plate you have a. ready-made cake stand.
