Moving into our forever home came with a lot of challenges. One of the biggest was not having an actual laundry room. We now have a laundry closet! I saved this project for last because to be honest I wasn’t inspired with this small space.

The Laundry Closet

Over the summer we were part of a competition that encouraged me to think outside of the box in terms of this space. I was feeling creative and thought this may be something we can tackle and change how we felt about this space.

Teaming Up With Samsung

I was so excited when Samsung asked me to team up with them for this DIY project. The first thing we needed to do was remove these closet doors. Shopping for the right appliances can be a lot of pressure. We did not know what would fit in this space since it was built for a traditional washer and dryer.

Project Prep

We cleaned the space, touched up the paint, and added new cabinets, and space saving shelves.

Limited Space

This space truly limited what we could achieve, so I knew that I needed to find the perfect appliances for this laundry room makeover. I wanted a high quality, high efficiency washer and dryer! This was a way to make the work of doing laundry, so much easier for us.

Out with Old, In with the New

We removed the old washer and dryer, added the shelving and cabinets, and I could already see the transformation. We decided on the Samsung 6.0 cu. ft. FlexWash™ Washer in White and the Samsung 7.5 cu. ft. FlexDry™ Electric Dryer also in White.

The washer and dryer were delivered by an amazing instillation team. There was not a lot of room to work with, and they had it hooked up and in place within a matter of minutes.

Samsung For the Win

My favorite part of the Samsung 7.5 cu. ft. FlexDry™ Electric Dryer is it has two dyers in one. I can dry delicates that require special care, and everyday items at the same time. I love that this Samsung dryer is Energy Star certified. This means it take sup to 25% less energy in every single load. That means we save money, and that means something to me! I can buy Moree pretty decor for my new laundry closet.

2 Loads in One

I love that this washer allows me to wash two separate loads, at the same time! Can you believe I can control each one independently? They each have different settings and options. It also allows me to choose from different types of clothes! What more could a girl ask for?

This washer has a a total capacity of 6.0 cu. ft. between the lower and upper washer. So this means less loads of laundry, and less time in the laundry closet!

It is also such a time saver, I can wash a load in 30 minutes. The super speed power does laundry faster without sacrificing cleaning performance. Samsung also has added a steam wash option to this washer. It can help eliminate stains, and give an even deeper clean.

Smart Products

Want to know my absolute favorite part about this new pair of Samsung washer and dryer? Best part, you can remotely control them, no really it’s true. I can monitor my Samsung washer and dryer from anywhere, using my cell phone. I can tell how much time is left, get an alert when the cycle is done, and schedule cycles. It even sings a tune when its finished, I am literally in laundry heaven,

Design & Style

I am in love with the color and design, it makes the entire space look beautiful, even with such a limited space. It no longer feels small and boring, it is now gorgeous and has a purpose. As a mom of boys I truly love that this washer can handle every stain, and all the messy stinky clothes they leave behind.

Functional Space

The laundry closet is now a clean, function, beautiful space in our home. It is no longer that one space that I could not stand in my home. Laundry may just be my new favorite chore. Taking the plunge to upgrade our laundry appliances was definitely the right choice. Samsung has some of the most graceful and beautiful appliances I have had the pleasure of using. I would recommend these to anyone, they are hands down amazing!

Samsung washers and dryers have literally made laundry a chore I no longer avoid. They look amazing, and make laundry easy, quick, and fun!
